I met Sasha (on right) in 1993 when Cherie and I were ministering at Kiev Polytech University in Kiev, Ukraine. He was not a believer, but a seeker, and through our ministry he put his trust in Christ and has committed his life to serving Jesus. Today, he and his wife, Ira lead the campus team at one of the major universities in Ukraine. Their vision is to reach univsersity students with the gospel of Jesus Christ, help them grow in their faith and equip them to lead others to Christ. So that everyone in Ukraine, will know someone who truly follows Jesus. Here is an excerpt from their latest report:
We met Denis, a first year student, when we were witnessing in the dorms. He asks many questions and is open for spending time with us. Pray that he will receive Christ.
Bogdan, a third year student, wanted to be a Buddhist, but learned from Yulia, who is part of our ministry, how to become a Christian and did it last spring! Now Bogdan goes through the follow-up lessons with another staff member. Also, they regularly witness in the dorm . . .
God is faithful and they have already seen the first fruits of their ministry: a first year student prayed to receive Christ with them recently!
Sasha and Ira’s ministry is the return on your investment in us during those years in the 90′s when we lived in Kiev, and that investment is still growing! Thank you for partnering with us!!
