For fun we looked up our house in France on Google Maps.
I was surprised to see that the satellite image was taken during the time that we lived there. You can see two houses up against one another in the center of the image. Our house is the lower (southern) one.
We know this is when we lived there because the blue van parked in front of our drive was our blue van. There is also a small inflatable pool in the back yard and the green “canopy” by the back porch, and the white picnic table and chairs on the porch. These were our things. I estimate the picture is from 4 or 5 years ago. It’s amazing that you can see all this via satellite.
