I love hearing about the people that my dad gets to meet when he travels with his job with the JESUS film project, part of Campus Crusade for Christ. I always wish that I could go with him sometime. This summer dad is going to London to visit with some of the teams that he is responsible for. The best part for me is that I finally get a chance to go with him, meet some of the teams that he has told me about and actually get to join them in ministry.

The project is called London Bridges. Each summer more than 100,000 “Near Easterners” (mainly from the A. Peninsula) are drawn to London for its cooler weather and green parks. We will be distributing the New Testament, the JESUS film, and other items in their language. I  will have a chance to freely offer these gifts on the streets of London. In their home countries it would be illegal to offer or receive such gifts, but in London they are freely given and well received! My dad says that sometimes they begin reading the Bible right away, and often say, “thank you” for the gifts. And last year even 22 people prayed with “Near Eastern” Christians to receive Jesus!

The countries where these people live are closed and dad says they have almost no opportunity to hear about God’s love at home. Of all the reasons that I want to go on this project this summer, I think this is the most important.

In order to make this possible, I need to develop a team of Ministry Partners who are willing to pray for me and invest financially in my summer. My total need is $2,800. This includes airfare, lodging, and meals during the trip. Can you trust God with me and help bring the message of God’s love to “Near Easterners” from closed countries?

In order to meet this need as quickly as possible, I am looking for contributions of $50, $100, $200, or whatever God leads people to give. All gifts are tax deductible. I need all my funds by July 1st. as soon as possible.
